when it rains it pours right?

my throat has been uncomfortably swollen (not painful, just uncomfortable) for 6 mths now. i went to the on-campus doctor 3 mths ago and they told me it was probably allergies. i had some left over allegra from the last time i was sick and the dr told me to take it and it should get better. it didn't. in the last few weeks my throat was getting to the point where it was just to uncomfortable to ignore anymore.

i went to the dr today and he looked concerned when i told him my symptoms. but he said he didn't want to try to diagnose anything until he knew for sure. i'm getting a thyroid ultrasound tomorrow along with extensive blood tests.

and i have to miss work which means less money on the pay check... thats all i'm worried about at this point. sorta...

Thyroidism really isn't something too much to worry about. I've had it since I was 12. The only downside is taking a pill everyday for the rest of your life, but it's harmless. Still, I'll be thinking of you. Let me know if you need anything.
